THE PLAY—Freud’s Last Session centers on Dr. Sigmund Freud, who in a fictional meeting invites the
youthful, obscure professor, C. S. Lewis to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be reproached for
satirizing Freud in a recent publication, soon realizes that Freud has a much more significant agenda.
As England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, love, sex, and the
meaning of life. Mark St. Germain joins us for a Q&A session immediately following the performance.
A FOLLOW-UP SEMINAR at CMPS/NYGSP continues our off-campus theater event. Selected readings are available in the CMPS library prior to the seminar.
Seminar will be led by Barbara D’Amato, PsyaD, LP, CMPS and NYGSP Faculty, Training and Supervising Analyst, Extension Division Director.
CMPS/NYGSP Student Association Committee: Ana Bolaños and Madeline Escobar, with help from Murray Birnbaum.
